While not as hot as it has been, it was an 11:00am meet up at Woolworths Weston Carpark for an 11:30am departure. The departure point provided the opportunity for a few members to grab some last minute supplies before heading off to the Crossing.

Rather than the actual crossing, we diverted to Eastern Reserve, which has more parking and shade. We had good shade and facilities all day. We set up the BBQ, and had lunch, before the river lured us to its banks.

A lot of us weren’t going to go swimming, however, once you slipped on a few large boulders, there was little choice!

We had heaps of fun, so much so that there isn’t much to write about or pics to tell the story. It was so relaxing, we’ve decided to do it again, although maybe without the hassle of the trailer and BBQ next time. Keep your eyes on the website.
