Convoy for Kids with Cancer

Although a bit cloudy, the day started off fairly warm to hot. News of the day was that Mike and Amanda's LC was having technical difficulty so couldn't make it on the day. Pat had broadcast the event to the Council of Motor Clubs. In response we had a Chev and a HK Panel Van show up. The Chev cruised on to the convoy start, and the HK Panel Van, although disappearing for a short time, reappeared at the Convoy. There was also a good turn out of motorcycles, MG's and MX-5's. This year we were behind the lead trucks and some NSW Rural Fire Brigade Trucks. There were no roadblocks, and the traffic was stop and start, which broke up the convoy, but other than that, a pretty smooth run. We went to the Queanbeyan Showground, drinking the bar dry!!!
