About Us

Hey there car enthusiasts! Are you looking for a community to connect with and share your love for classic cars? The Canberra Torana Club is here for you! We were founded in 2003 with the goal of preserving the history and experience of the Holden Torana for future generations. Our club is all about bringing together people in the Canberra region who share a passion for these classic cars and providing fun and meaningful events that allow members to fully enjoy their rides and the social aspects of the club.

Even if you don’t have a Torana, but are interested in a progressive and active car club, you are welcome to join us. Our members have a range of Torana models, both standard and modified, at various stages of restoration. If your Torana is currently under restoration, no problem! You can still join us on runs in your daily driver. Our members have a wealth of knowledge about Toranas, spare parts, and suppliers that offer us discounts, and we are always happy to help.

In addition to all things car-related, we also bring people together through various social events, meetings, and fundraisers. Upcoming events can be found on our website, and we hold monthly club meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the Vikings Club in Erindale. Anyone interested is welcome to come hang out with us.

Whether you have a show-worthy ride, a daily driver, a project in progress, or simply an interest in classic cars, you and your crew are welcome to join the Canberra Torana Club. We are an inclusive community open to all. See you at the next meet-up!
