Easter Cruise
19 April 2025
Our Easter run on 19th of April 2025 was one of the best attended in recent memory. 14 members and a number of family and friends headed out together for a 160km loop around the northern outskirts of the ACT. It was stunning weather in the Canberra region for the group of 13 Toranas, 1 Commodore and 1 Corolla who met at Gold Creek. First we headed through Sutton to Gunning where we stopped for a ‘comfort break’ and to take some photos outside the historic Bailey’s Garage. After leaving Gunning we headed down the Hume Highway toward Yass before turning off toward Murrumbateman and on to Sutton again for lunch at the Little Sutton Bakery. A few attendees felt that by this time a beer was more in order and continued on to the Eaglehawk Pub for lunch.
The roads were quiet, the weather amazing and the company was good, the cars got to stretch their legs on the highway and through country back roads, a great way to spend Easter Saturday morning.
